The Menopause Test by The Tester is a urine self-test intended to help detect an elevated level of follicle-stimulating hormone, also known as Fsh. FSH levels may rise as the body produces less oestrogen. An elevated FSH result may therefore be associated with perimenopause or menopause. The test provides an indication only and does not establish a definitive diagnosis. How the test works The Menopause Test qualitatively detects FSH in urine at concentrations of 25 mIU/mL or higher. First-morning urine is preferred because it generally contains the highest concentration of Fsh. Collect urine in a clean, dry container. Remove the test cassette from its sealed pouch and use it as soon as possible, within one hour. Place the cassette on a clean, level surface.
